Mompreneur Magic: Slaying the Wedding Biz While Raising Tiny Humans 👑👶

Charla here! If you’re reading this with one hand while bouncing a baby on your hip, or sneaking in a quick work sesh during naptime, girl, this one’s for you. Let’s dive into the wild world of being a mom AND a boss in the wedding industry, shall we?

First things first: Can we get a collective “PHEW” for how not-always-easy this gig is? 😅

Being a mom in the wedding biz is like trying to plan the most elaborate wedding of your life… every. single. day. Except the bride is a toddler who changes their mind every 5 minutes, and the groom is your business that needs constant attention. Fun times, right?

But here’s the tea: You’re doing amazing, sweetie. No, really. You ARE.

Now, let’s break down this mompreneur life, Develope style:

  1. The Time-Pocket Hustle 🕰️ Remember when you could work for hours uninterrupted? Yeah, me neither. Welcome to the world of hyper-focused work sprints! It’s all about making the most of those precious pockets of time when the tiny humans are occupied (or, let’s be real, when Netflix is babysitting for 30 minutes).
  2. The Present-But-Productive Paradox 🎭 Being present with your kiddos while not feeling like a total business failure? It’s possible, I promise. It’s about quality over quantity, both in parenting and in work. When you’re with your kids, be WITH them. When you’re working, crush it like the boss you are.
  3. The Seasonal Shift 🌈 Here’s a little secret: Everything is a season. The sleepless nights with a newborn? Season. The terrible twos (or threes… or fours…)? Season. The struggle to book clients while changing diapers? You guessed it – season. It’ll get easier, then harder, then easier again. Such is life, friend.
  4. The Mom Guilt Monster 👹 Oh, hello there, old friend. Mom guilt is real, it’s persistent, and it’s about as welcome as a drunk uncle at a dry wedding. But here’s the thing: You’re doing your best, and that’s more than enough. Your kids don’t need a perfect mom; they need a happy one.

As a mom of two toddlers (almost 3 and 1) AND an adult son (24), I’ve worn ALL the mom hats. Single mom? Check. Stay-at-home mom? Been there. Successful business owner mom? That’s me, baby! And let me tell you, each stage has its own flavor of chaos and joy.

But here’s what I really want you to take away from this:

  1. You don’t need full-time childcare or a 24/7 work schedule to find success. The new rich? It’s all about controlling your time, schedule, and mental health.
  2. Having it all is totally possible – just not all at once. And that’s okay!
  3. Your worth isn’t measured by your productivity. You’re a whole person, not just a business owner or just a mom.
  4. Community is everything. Find your community of fellow mompreneurs who get it.
  5. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. Take that bubble bath, book that massage, or just lock yourself in the bathroom for 5 minutes of peace. You’ve earned it!

Because we love you (and know you’re probably multitasking while reading this), we’ve got a little gift for you. Grab our Mindset Workbook – totally free, because we know you’ve already spent your budget on diapers this month.

Remember, we’re always here to help, guide, and listen. You’re not just raising babies; you’re raising the bar in the wedding industry. And you’re crushing it, even on the days when it doesn’t feel like it.

So here’s to you, mompreneur extraordinaire. May your coffee be strong, your nap times be long, and your business be booming!

P.S. If this resonated with you, spread the love! Share this post with a fellow mompreneur who could use a virtual high five today. You’ve got this, mama! 💪💖
